The 10 Steps to Success
- Decide what you want? Be as clear as you can.
- Write it down and be specific e.g. how much money do you want to make?
- Read your goal three times a day to keep you focused.
- Set the date of accomplishment. If you don’t set the date you will procrastinate!
- Think of the goal often. Take a few minutes out each day to relax, centre yourself and think of the goal. Your mind is an incredible computer if you allow it to think it will give you great ideas.
- Dream and imagine. See yourself doing what you dream about. Visualise yourself achieving and living the goal.
- Develop a plan of action. If you fail to plan you plan to fail!
- Do three things every day consistently towards the goal.
- Stay positive. Surround yourself with positive and likeminded people.
- Act as though you have already achieved it!

The Power of the questions you ask yourself!
Are you aware of the questions you ask yourself? What would happen if you asked yourself better questions?
Every moment of every day we are thinking. Thinking is nothing more that the process of asking and answering questions. Sometimes we do this consciously, sometimes unconsciously e.g. whether you believe this to be true or not in order for you to agree or disagree you need to ask yourself is it true?
The average person thinks 60,000 thoughts a day and research shows that 95% of the thought we have are the same ones as we had yesterday e.g. how come I can never lose weight? The truth of the matter is that if you ask yourself a lousy question you get a lousy answer. If you ask a better question, you get a better answer e.g. how can I lose weight now and enjoy the process? By asking better quality question we free our minds up to sort for new and more exciting possibilities.
Questions instantly change what we focus on. What we focus on determines how we feel.
In the current times of recession many people are asking themselves I wonder if my job is the next one to go? What will happen if I lose my job? All of these types of questions are not going to put anyone in a great state, which in turn determines how we act.
Instead why not ask yourself how can I use this day to make more out of my life? How can I be more grateful in this moment than ever before? Whatever you ask for you may not get an answer to straight away as it maybe a new question for you. But if you ask it with a state of certainty it will change your focus it will change the way you are feeling and when you feel different you will do things differently. When we do things differently we get different results!
So what questions do you choose to ask yourself today?

Opening your mind to what’s possible for you
“If a thing is humanly possible, consider it to be within your reach” – Marcus Aurelius
For each of the following questions I would like for you to answer yes or no.
Has someone, somewhere in the world today, achieved these things?
• Is it possible to have a very successful business?
• Is it possible to have a million dollars in the bank?
• Is it possible to be fit and healthy?
• Is it possible to have loving and happy relationships?
• Is it possible feel passionate about your life’s work?
• Is it possible to wake up excited about life?
All of the above are possible would you agree? I know you are probably saying to yourself right now, yes but I can’t have those because… I don’t have enough time; I don’t have the education; I don’t have the money etc. Ignore these yes buts for now, and accept that all of these are in fact possible.
Einstein said “We are boxed in by the boundary conditions of our thinking”. So why not start pushing against your boundaries and see whats truly possible for you?

In your Life are you at Cause or Effect?
In life we are either at cause for our circumstances or we are at the effect of our circumstances.
If someone is on the effects side they are looking for reasons or excuses but they won’t have results e.g. they will say I would have been a success if it wasn’t for my parents who held me back, I would have been a success if it weren’t for the tax man who took all my money. The person on the effects side is always trying to point the finger and place the blame outside of themselves. The persons on the effects side prevent themselves from getting the learning’s, the learning’s that would allow them to change their behaviors and get different results in the world.
The person on the cause side of the equation is the person who takes responsibility for their own life. They say yes I created those circumstance in my life, I have create the things that have happened either by my actions, or my non actions, and because I have created them I can also choose to uncreate them.
You may or may not believe that we create everything within our reality, and I am not saying it necessarily true. However I choose to believe it is. Our beliefs will determine our actions and therefore our results.
What would happen if you got rid of all the reasons or excuses why you cannot have what you want?
